Twin Oaks Dairy Silvopasture Walk

Join us at Twin Oaks Dairy to learn about how they are incorporating trees into their dairy grazing systems (aka silvopasture)!

Here’s what you can look forward to:

• Learn about Twin Oaks’ rotational grazing system
• Hear about the farm’s motivations for planting trees into pastures, lessons learned, and plans for the future
• Tour two silvopasture plantings: one planted in 2021 including 20ft tall black locusts and one newly planted this spring
• Learn from experts about how and why silvopasture could benefit your grazing operation
• Plentiful opportunity for conversation – we welcome everyone to share their knowledge, experiences, and questions

Please wear appropriate footwear for walking around pastures. If anyone needs assistance with the walk to the silvopasture plantings, UTV’s will be available to assist.
