Farm Ops Scholarship: Grasstravaganza 2023 Growing Resilient Grazing Systems

Join Farm Ops staff this summer at Grasstravaganga 2023. The lectures, hands on workshops, and farm tours will focus on assisting your farm and grazing management to be more resilient to short and long-term changes in climate. Topics will also include economics, soil health, consumer preferences, and more. You can register to attend just one day or both days. The hosts are also offering affordable lodging at SUNY Morrisville.

Of note, NYS farmer veteran, Tricia Park (Creekside Meadow Farm) will be speaking at the event and on Saturday will be hosting a farm tour at her farm as part of the conference.

To learn more about Grasstravaganga 2023 and to register for the event click HERE.

NYS veterans who attend the event will be eligible for a scholarship, which will reimburse the veteran for the registration fee, lodging (if you stay at SUNY Morrisville as part of your registration) and for mileage to and from the event. If you register for the event, and you wish to apply for the veteran scholarship, fill out the form below. For more information about the scholarship, go to the Farm Ops Scholarship Page

Again, fill out this form once you have registered to attend the event. You must be a veteran that resides in the state of NY.

Registration for this event has closed on July 13, 2023, therefore we have closed scholarship applications. If you are a veteran and registered for this event earlier and forgot to apply for a Farm Ops scholarship, contact Farm Ops staff to see if funding is still available.
