Red Tomato is a non-profit, 501c3 marketer and distributor of regional fruits and vegetables. We have been working for over 28 years to support regional food systems by offering sales and marketing support to mid-size farms primarily in the Northeast. Our signature program, EcoCertified, is both a scientifically recognized certification for apples and stone fruit and a unique brand in the marketplace.
We also engage in food systems development work, including our farm to school and farm to institution programs, often utilizing grant-funding to implement innovative solutions to challenges through research collaboration with the communities we serve.
