Shiitake Log Maintenance & Harvest 101

Join Connor Yongerman of Cornell Small Farms Program, alongside the NYRP Urban Ag team for an intermediate-level mushroom log workshop focused on what happens after the inoculation process is complete. During this hands- on session, participants will have the chance to practice soaking mushroom logs and harvesting shiitakes with experts. There’ll be plenty of opportunities to discuss some of the challenges that urban shiitake growers face and how to best problem solve.

Note: Registration is Required for this workshop. Attendance will be capped at 25 people. After which anyone else who registers will be automatically added to a waitlist.
