Farm Stress Resources Across the USDA Farm and Ranch Stress Assistance Network (FRSAN)
Farming and ranching bring unique challenges that can take a toll on mental/behavioral health and well-being. This webinar provides an overview of the resources available through the USDA Farm and Ranch Stress Assistance Network (FRSAN). Representatives from each of the network’s four regional centers will highlight key professional services and support available to agricultural producers, farm families, agricultural workers, and agricultural service providers within their regions. Presenters will also share information about important partner organizations and other regional resources that complement FRSAN’s work. Whether you work directly with agricultural communities or are seeking resources for yourself or others, this session will help you better understand the range of mental/behavioral health support available across the country and how to connect with those services.
Our presenters:
- Kacie Hulshof, North Central Farm and Ranch Stress Assistance Center
- Susan Jakes, FRSAN South Farm and Ranch Stress Assistance Network
- Laura Del Prete, Cultivemos (formerly known as FRSAN-Northeast)
- Don McMoran and Maddy Vanderkooy, Western Regional Agricultural Stress Assistance Partnership
A question & answer period is scheduled after the presentation.
