During this Field Day, you’ll learn about:
– How to raise and manage beef cattle, chickens, turkeys, and pigs.– What it takes to process and sell meat in New York State.– Strategies for pricing your products and finding local markets.– Practical tips and real-world experiences from successful small-scale livestock producers.
You’ll also tour both farms, have opportunities to ask questions, connect with fellow farmers, and enjoy a farm-fresh dinner prepared by Horizon Ridge Farm.
