Futuro en Ag Team to Share Regular Educational Segments on Spanish Radio

Cornell Small Farms Program’s Futuro en Ag team will be regular guests on WRFI’s Spanish-language radio program, “Alcance Latino,” broadcast over the airwaves on 91.9 FM in Watkins Glen, NY, 88.1 FM in Ithaca and streaming on the internet at wrfi.org.

Futuro en Ag segments will air next on July 17, August 14 and September 18, 2024 from 12:30 to 1 pm. Futuro will feature an educational topic each month according to the expressed needs of Latinx farmers and aspiring farmers, focusing on farm business planning and climate resiliency practices. This regular programming follows up on the team’s May 8 visit to “Alcance Latino,” when host Carlos Gutiérrez interviewed them about the history and goals of the project.

Please contact Futuro en Ag if you have a topic that you would like to have addressed in these educational segments. Write to us in English or Spanish at tws74@cornell.edu or via call, text or WhatsApp at 607-793-4969. ¡Gracias!
