Pre-proposals for Northeast SARE due June 19th

SARE, or Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education, offers competitive grants to projects that explore and address key issues affecting the sustainability and future economic viability of agriculture. SARE offers funding for every sector of the farm community, from Farmer Grants to Research and Education Grants.
Grants come in two sizes–large, multiyear projects ranging from $30,000 to $200,000, and smaller, shorter-term projects of $15,000 or less. The two funding tiers have different application requirements. Find out who can apply, read about past grant awards, and learn how each grant program serves a different sector of the farm community. If you have a grant, you will find tools to help you manage your project.
Northeast SARE in particular serves Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia, and Washington, D.C.  Visit the Northeast SARE website for more information or to apply for a grant.
