Mushroom Cultivator

  • Paul Stamets, Agarikon Press, 1983

This book is highly reviewed and used widely as a mycological textbook — it has been referred to throughout the world as "The Grower's Bible."

 

Cordyceps Cultivation Book

  • William Padilla Brown, 2017

This handbook covers the ins and outs of working with Cordyceps militaris from the wild to growing them commercially. Discover the history, learn where we are, and explore the future of human interaction with this interesting mushroom. 

 

Mycelium Running

  • Paul Stamets, Penguin Random House, 2005

Mycelium Running is a manual for the mycological rescue of the planet. There are chapters detailing all four exciting branches of what Stamets has coined “mycorestoration,” as well as chapters on the medicinal and nutritional properties of mushrooms, inoculation methods, log and stump culture, and species selection for various environmental purposes.

Fungi Ally is a commercial mushroom farm and spawn provider. Their mission is to create a world of balance and connection by revealing the power of mushrooms. The Fungi Ally YouTube channel explores different ways of allying with fungi through cultivation, cooking, foraging, and as medicine

Apex Grower

Apex Grower is an urban shaman, mycologist, certified permaculture designer, and amateur phycologist. The Apex Grower YouTube channel chronicles his quest for knowledge, sustainable living, travel, and physical and spiritual well-being.

Myers Mushrooms

The Meyers Mushroom channel has videos on all the techniques and equipment used for mushroom farming for profit. Myers Mushrooms got his start growing gourmet oyster mushrooms in my garage at home. He has since built a 2400 sq/ft mushroom warehouse with a dedicated autoclave and spawn lab. Meyers Mushrooms is also Unicon Bags largest reseller of grow bags.

Southwest Mushrooms

Southwest Mushrooms focuses on cultivating fresh gourmet mushrooms at their urban grow farm. They grow mushrooms that are full of amazing flavor and beneficial nutrients. FreshCap Mushrooms

GroCycle

Learn all about growing mushrooms and small scale farming with GroCycle. The GroCycle channel is all about mushroom cultivation, growing microgreens and other small scale farming techniques. They have been growing mushrooms since 2009, and during that time have focused on finding the easiest low-tech ways to cultivate mushrooms. GroCycle also features the Low Tech Mushroom Farming Online Course – more than 50+ video lessons detailing step by step how to plan, build and run a small scale mushroom farm.
