Rock Steady Farm is a multiracial, queer and trans led nonprofit and cooperative farm rooted in social justice, food access and support for queer and trans farmers.
Founded in 2015, we are located on 12 acres in Millerton, NY. In addition to our holistic, sustainable farming and land stewardship practices, we increase equity in the food system through food access and offer affirming training and support to queer, trans, Black, Indigenous and people of color (QTBIPOC) farmers. Our work is grounded in close community partnerships and collaboration.
Through various programs, we provide training, 1-on-1 ongoing farmer support, technical assistance, and fundraising guidance for new QTBIPOC farmers.
