Veteran Event of Choice Scholarship Application

The below application supports a NYS veteran’s attendance to agricultural trainings, workshops and conferences.

Please have the following information available when you begin the application process: name of the event, date(s) of the event, location/physical address of where the event will take place, and your registration confirmation, which you must upload into the application.

Rich Mattingly

Rich is a Marine Corps veteran and is dedicated to building community through sustainable agriculture. He lives in Dryden, NY, and is an aspiring farmer, with the goal of growing healthy food for local food sovereignty initiatives. He worked as a veterans associate for the Farm Ops project from 2024-2025.
