Though it is estimated that queer farmers make up 1.2% of farms across the country, the total figure of those who don\u2019t have a way to enter the farming industry is unknown. When queer farmers are able to enter the industry, they often face a litany of limitations. Despite historical underrepresentation, a current push for support coming from organizations, working groups, and queer farms have created new opportunities for queer farmers to farm safely and in community with one another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
