The Summer 2016 Small Farm Quarterly is Out Now!

Layout 1The Summer Issue of the Small Farm Quarterly has just been released. The Small Farms Quarterly is a publication produced by the Cornell Small Farms Program that features articles meant to inspire and inform farm families and their supporters. The Summer 2016 Issue has articles on a range of topics including; recommendations for cover cropping, a review of labor laws, how to farm for climate change, and a Mennonite farmer helping with Cornell research trials.

If you are interested in contributing to the next issue of the Quarterly, we always encourage submissions of articles and cover photos. Information for aspiring writers can be found on the Small Farms Program website. Articles should be 1,200- 1,600 words and cover photos should be in high resolution and oriented as a portrait image. The submission deadline for the Fall Issue is August 12, 2016.
