The Cornell Small Farms Program is committed to helping connect farmers with expert support.

Who Can Help You Locally?

If you are in New York and looking for help from someone near your farm, be sure to check our Local Contacts page for your nearest Cornell Cooperative Extension agriculture agent. They can answer your questions, connect you to local training and events, and even do a site visit to your farm.

If you are located in a different state, use this USDA Land-Grant Directory to find your local extension network and offices.

Do You Have a Technical Issue with a Farm Enterprise?

CCE's regional agriculture teams provide research-based information, educational programs, and technical assistance to dairy, field crop, vegetable, tree fruit, and grape producers all around New York State. To find an enterprise-specific expert, visit our Regional Agriculture Teams page.

Interested in Current Research Relevant to Small Farms?

There are numerous faculty within Cornell University's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) who are working on finding solutions to the challenges faced by farmers in New York and beyond. Explore some of their research and expertise on the CALS website.
